It's fun; my family loves it; I enjoy it. I think it's worth the cost but after playing a 360 the graphics are hard to swallow. Are there any games that look decent b/c Redsteel looks like crap :( Wii Sports is fun but I know this system will not keep me interested for long periods of time. What other games do those of you who own one suggest? I haven't tried Zelda yet something I fully intend to get. I have tried RayMan; that is a wierd game lol.

I havent looked at any of the Wii games, so I'm of no help to you. It was never on the books for me to get one, and now that I'm going to be an unemployed college student, you better believe I am not getting another item to waste money on :)

Zelda is awesome. I like it a lot. All games for the Wii are going to pale in comparison to 360 and PS3 graphically... it just doesn't have the hardware to accomplish what they do... everyone knew that going in. Zelda is no exception. Graphically, its not all that impressive. But it is a very fun game and supposedly its a 50+ hour game.
Really, the reason to get the Wii is the game play. If you want pretty graphics, grab a 360 and GoW. One of the main reasons my roomate and I got the system was because its a "party" game system. There is a LOT of fun to be had with groups of people playing.
MonkeyBall is probably the best party game out for it right now. Some of the MonkeyBall games are a blast. Theres a couple that are either not working right, or will require a lot of practice to really get into. I haven't had time to play the single player yet.
Raving Rabids is weird, but it can also be a very very fun party game (not to mention a hell of a workout).
Other party / multiplayer games coming out for it are: Wario Ware, Mario Party and Super Smash Brothers.
Mario will be out in March (I believe) and that promises to be a fun one.
One of my friends got Madden, which I haven't played, but looked pretty fun.
I read a lot of bad reviews of Red Steel, so don't base your judgement of the system on that game.
