I am very apprehensive to post anything in the Real Life forum due to the partisan poo flinging so instead I will post some warm and fuzzy space news here =).
Virgin Galactic reveals White Knight Two, one of the most unique air frames I have ever seen:

NASA's new images website. A portal to find and view all of NASA's images. The UI is very small and easy to use.

But seriously, I've been overly facinated by space (inner and outer) lately. Particle Physics is not my subject, hell... spelling is not my subject, much less Physics, but they are learning a lot about the big stuff by smashin' up the small stuff.
Maybe it was a thread posted here that lead into this. I think it was about the noise that the earth makes. Anyway, I started reading... and clicking... and next thing you know... Particle Physics... BAM!
I seem to learn more crap from reading these boards!

Aye, the LHC is almost ready for first light!
The very last sector is in cool down mode (to 4.3 Kelvin). Once that is done and they stabalize the ring then they will be ready to start testing out the behemouth that is the LHC.

I think we should be more concerned with terraforming our own planet before we start trying to monkey with someone elses. :)
Have we ever been able to create a successful bio-dome?

Interesting link. It made me wonder how the Constellation program is doing since the shuttle is retiring very soon. So I spent most of my Friday afternoon at work while waiting for IBM parts...cruising NASA sites LOL.
Richard Branson amazes me. That guy has soo frigging much money.
