I have to applaud her for making that stance. Why should the state's taxpayers have to pay for ANY political parties functions at all?

There are a lot of very dangerous implications that come from slowly privately funding all aspects of our political system. There needs to be an impartial, non-partisan Board of Elections. Making the primaries privately funded can lead to skewing of the political system on a number of levels, plus making it even more difficult than it already is for independent parties to ever field third party candidates.

They should have to put all their corporate sponsors on their campaign posters, kinda like NASCAR. /shrug. At least we can see who they are really going to Washington to represent. Otherwise Kelraz your argument was lost when it was decided that corporations are granted equal voting and contribution rights as individuals. Buy all the government you want.

I am all for the Board of Elections basically keeping the books as it were but shouldnt the state have to fund the GOP Primary, the Democrat Primary and every other party out there that is tryingto get an elected official in office.

Do away with the party system and yay all is well.
