The linked article is trash reporting and it is embarrassing seeing it linked and fawned over by some here. The bold is mine. This was the kind of rhetoric I was recalling when I saw that L2 had posted the article regarding McCain and his divorce. I can more than likely find similar posts by most of the Obama fan club that were obviously drooling over having something else to trash McCain with, but there is no reason to spend that much time researching it. I am mistaken in thinking you were one of those that was upset by the lack of integrity in that previous election, and so I apologize for that, 'weinie.

But, my original post that apparently started this ruckus was based on the above 'type' of posting done in the '04 election season, as well as posts by folks then and since calling for the kind of change that they are now flocking to Obama for, because he is promising to deliver it. The irony is that so many of his supporters are behaving in the manner of those they despise so greatly.

I could well end up voting for Obama myself; that is undecided at this time. But I will be damned if I would ever join this fan club that I view as being hypocritical, and filled with folks who act like rabid cultists. After all, what has he delivered so far other than promises. He might be the real deal, and then again he might not. Only time will tell.
