So in the last year it's been Bioware, Sony PSN, and now Steam. Nerds beware! I had a pop up last night telling me they had forum problems, and while there was no evidence of theft the intrusion did have access to account information, and potentially even credit cards.

I've started using prepaid cards almost exclusively, but I'm thinking about how many gamers probably have the same email (and password) for their different game services. The extra couple of dollars I spend for a prepaid on rare purchases pays off.

Oh no, now where will people go to get told that outdated video drivers cause everything from network disconnects to global warming.

The card idea isn't terrible. I put basically all my internet purchases on a single card that I don't use for much else.

Yeah keep an eye on your shit, when Sony was hacked, we were promised no CC information was given out, yet less than a month later I had several small random charges to different online sites that were likely a test to see if the card was valid.

Fucking hell.
