Hile, all!
Its been damn near two years since last i played (or left a message here for that matter) and after all that time i still get a jones to play whenever i see anyone playing EQ or any other dozen similar games. Does the addiction ever go, or should i just resign myself to the occasional twitch?

EQ reaches for you from beyond the grave.
It's like any good game honestly. I haven't touched Command and Conquer in nearly 8 years, but a month or two ago I was looking at the CD case in my stack and went, "Meh."
I ended up spending 2 hours trying to install it because there's a fuckton of compatability errors with Windows XP, heh.

I re-installed Morrowind over the holidays. The game has its good and bad points, but it's just sucking me in again.
I still play starcraft... along with 10+ other peeps in the guild. Great game!

Original Star Fleet
Jones in the Fast Lane
Hammer of the Gods
Worms
Civilization II
Master of Orian II
There's a difference between nostalga and addiction. Most likely, your fond memories of the best of the times you had in EQ are what you miss...not the actual playing.

Ya I guess I'm still addicted too =\ I keep hanging around these boards. And while I've been cool with not playing a long time, I talked to the guy who plays Shew now tonight and I was like damn I remember when I __________ and I __________ etc... Oh well.

/agree Leafy :)
Faervas and I reinstalled Master of Magic last month (it's available off several abandonware sites if you're twitching btw ;) ) and have been spending entirely too many hours playing that game...
Got my all time high score with Sss'ra/Halflings/Myrror last night, it's just hard to beat the power of early admantium slingers ;) . It's a damned shame that they never made a sequel, even Master of Orion 2 couldn't touch it in terms of game flexibility... and that little battlefield owns :) .

I just loaded up some of those theme park games for the hell of it...some jagged alliance. If I could, find it I would be playing some Mutant League games or Shining Force stuff on Genesis.
On occassion I bust out the Parrappa the Rappa just because it reminds me of Gokuu all cracked out on angledust.

I still get sucked into Diablo II for weeks on and off. I've played that game since the first one and still haven't quit.
