6 Months......I can't believe I played that digital abortion for 6 months......actually defended it in open forum only to eat humble pie when I realized "This is utter bullshit!".

Sony is definately trying to recoup the losses they took when they:

a) Started the random Jedi grind
b) Started the quest Jedi grind
c) revamped (*cough* poured skanky donkey seamen over*cough*) the combat system
d) Etc, etc, etc, etc

Nuff said

so Jedis are still hard to come by? I thought the graphics look good and figure i rather pay 20 bucks a month for access to my eq 1 eq2 and SWG accounts instead of paying 15 bucks for just eq 1.

It's only 30 bucks for game plus expansions.

I loved SWG when it first came out... it just got old fast.

I hear they turned the controls / ui / combat into almost an exact copy of EQ2 or something like that. Kinda disappointing, but interesting at the same time. *Almost* curious enough to try it again for the Starships, but... eh.

I'm playing on Bloodfin. The space expansion has really started to come to life with an influx of new blood. The ground game is alive, and if you just ignore the millions of stupid jedi (or hunt them :devil ) it's a pretty solid game. The recent Combat Upgrade sucked for soloers, but makes for some pretty cool PVP.

Downside is you have to deal with Sony, who has no clue how to maintain a game, communicate with customers, or fix bugs in their own game. The same severe bugs have been in existance for months/years now...only time I enjoy the game is when I ignore the forums and avoid all the negative press.

well like i said I am paying 15 bucks for Everquest 1 right now and thought I would rather pay 20 bucks aand get my swg and eq2 accounts back up .... is the game fun for a casual player cause thats what i would be during non raid times... and are all the jedis realy that dumb or just alot of kiddies who play? and last but not least are there any Roleplaying servers?

I played on the Eclipse server after it first came out. How they had missions set up was cool, and the aspect of having merchants in little houses was a good idea. Plus, the PvP was awesome. But it was in no time at all that you had mastered professions, traveled around, and got bored with it. When I played there were about 4 jedi's tops.

I've heard they've done a lot with the expansions and with air-crafts and such. Could be fun to try it out again, but I have to many bills to pay for my entertainment as is.

Starstrider is supposed to have a good RP community, although the only toon I have there is a pilot.

The new expansion is very EQ like, with dungeons and zones.

I've got it on the all access pass.
