Thats funny you know him. I've done some work for MMORPG in the past and I'm hoping it becomes a yearly thing.

Yeah we met in EQ2 many years ago and just clicked and continued to play other games together and meet up for cons and stuff. Several of the folks I played with in EQ2 now work for various game companies/fan sites from SOE to EA and they all started as fan site contributors. Coy used to contribute for Ten Ton Hammer back in the EQ2 days but took a long hiatus. His column at MMORPG is weekly and comes out on Thursdays; it's always a fun read :)
