I have my new computer in the bedroom and am currently switching the ethernet cable from each comp to the modem. My question is, whats the best way to have both comps running at the same time? Should I go with the classic Ethernet Hub? Should I go with a router? Wireless router?
Any help would be appreciated

Get a wireless router. So cheap and they work great although if you dont have wirelsess in the PC now you need to put new cards in them.

I got my D-Link wireless router (nice router for being a D-Link) for like $6 shipped a few months ago when Buy.com was doing the $20 off $50 Google Checkout thing. After mail in rebates, of course. Still...
If you keep your eye out for deals, you'll eventually get a great price.
Right now the best price I was able to find was $45 shipped (http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=10392990&adid=17662) ($35 if you sign up for Google Checkout as a new customer) for a Linksys.
There will be better deals, it just depends on how long your willing to wait.
I would say go with the wireless even if you're not going to use it yet (the router has a built in 4 port hub, as almost all wireless routers do). In the future if you get a laptop or if you have a friend who visits that has one, or if you get one of the many devices that are coming out that use WiFi (Nintendo Wii / DS, iPhone, PDA's etc...), you'll want the wireless capabilities. Its pretty simple to turn off the wireless when you're setting it up too, so no one is stealing your internet. When you do set up the wireless, all you have to do is create a security (WEP) key and that should be enough to keep the neighbors out. Or you could set up MAC filtering.
