still says I need adobe flash player 9 and it wont let me install it cause of firefox

It wont let me install it. It keeps telling me I need to shut down firefox even though I don't have it open. I even ran End It All first and it still tells me that.

Open task manager, click the processes tab, and kill/end any FireFox.exe processes.

Failing that, restart the computer and install the Flash plugin right away, before doing anything else after the reboot.

Weird, I use Firefox and have not had the problem. Maybe I installed something a while back that I forgot that took care of it.

The computer god looks out for those of us that are 'pooter stoopid. :p
