A new thread to give Sanchek a giant boner!
So we've all seen Iron Man, and it was good. During Iron Man we saw the trailers for Hulk 2, and in that movie is a cameo of Hulk's good friend Tony Stark. So who is missing?
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0498278/
If you look under Stan Lee's writing credits you see Thor, Ant-Man (who later was replaced in the team by Spider-Man), Dr Strange (who wasn't an original Avenger either and may be unrelated), and Nick Fury (played by Samuel L Jackson at the end of the credits of Iron Man)and obviously Wolverine and Storm who probably won't make it into the Avengers movie because they were not in the original team. After all of these are released, he'll release The Avengers where they all team up and probably fight
Unknown if we'll see a Wasp movie (though she very well will be in the Ant-Man movie I'd imagine), and Captain America is obviously missing (though he wasn't an original Avenger either - he didn't enter the strip until the 4th book when Hulk left).

Thor is one of the ones Im excited about. Was the first comic book I ever owned. Had to beg my Presbyterian preacher grandfather to buy it for that summer.
I still have it today in plastic. Some of the previews I have written guessing at its content havent been to flattering unfortunately but with how 300 and other new movies have been done I hope it has potential other than a dumb blonde with a hammer.

I hope pushing out so many of these spin-offs quickly doesn't increase the odds that they'll end up like Elektra and Ghost Rider.

so I see that they are remaking / makign another Hulk movie .. lets all hope that this one doesnt suck ass like the first one did .. IMHO worst movie ever posted by Marvel .. ohh wait.. ranks right up there with Ghost Rider...

Very happy so far with the majority of Marvel's recent movies.
I believe I read somewhere that the Avengers was going to have alot of cross overs from the earlier movies. Makes sense with the info Kelraz posted.

They're making a sequel, though they've distanced themselves from the cartoony first one quite a bit by picking an entirely new cast.

Seeing a Thor movie on the way makes me think of Adventures in Babysitting...

Dolph Lundgren :) Actually the 2004 remake has a sequel on the way in December, though this one was definitely much better.

Ick the first HULK sucked so bad, those cheesy windows during the action sequences felt very 70s to me.
I don't even remember Elektra though I'm sure it must have sucked since I can't remember it. I haven't seen Ironman yet, going tomorrow we've just been too busy but I'm excited :)

Also, the Wikipedia entry points out that there will likely only be an Iron Man part 1 and part 2, and The Avengers will likely be considered the part 3.

Oh... and the implication is that they'll be going for the War Machine story line.

The Dolph one is a fantastic achievement in film making -- I challenge you to provide me any other movie with ninja gunfights on carnival equipment featuring synchronized clown-slide-attacks.
