Look This is how the raid went....We got there everyone did what they were supposed to do however after the behemoth died people went crazy everyone tried running through the room to hail guy for flag and spiders went an ae well some people didnt wanna be patient for resses. We had 1!! only 1 cler survived the fight he was ressing Some jack ass decides he doesnt wanna wait for a res so he runs to the camp training everyone with mobs from the ent to the factory where we were kills the cleric. Me ranen and kazaron (sitting next to me) were trying to run back and get those ressed we died. We ran back again 10 minutes left on corpse we start ressing people that were inside room some spiders run in ae. Run back again. Now by now thereis 5 mins left on corpse and i say everyone here roll because the loot will not rot so everyone rolls ranen wins with a 9257 and i was runner up with 8403. Now ranen goes to loot and dies from yes ANOTHER train. congrats noobs on your trains impatience is what killed you. I ran back and looted the secondary slot at 10 seconds till rot being the runner up and ranen was dead. We call a Gm he gives the barrier form me to the winner ranen. Few people got flag few people got loot mass chaos if you would like to lead this raid be my guest but if everything doesnt go your way or anyones way you cant just place the blame on me. just because i was leading it doesnt make the blame goto me if somthing goes wrong. Another major hassle with last night's behemoth raid was the idiots who kept pulling trains from the factory to the GY when folks were being rezzed in, resulting in more corpses; and, then folks who kept zoning in even tho it was being stated in raid channels that mobs were in GY.
Folks not going to listen need not bitch.

you did a shit ass job of organizing the raid, from the very moment you announced it and started recruiting people to the very end

Anyway, you started the raid. You "organized" the raid. (and I use the word "organized" very loosely) Any bullshit that happens is your own fucking fault. You should have done a better job of getting your raid together.

Perhaps you should never try leading an open raid again if you cant handle the responisbilities involved.

Pick up raids are the devil.

Anyhow, even the best led raid can be fucked up by people that just dont fucking listen.

The hardest part about MB is After he dies not before.

the ONLY way i can see to do MB open raided is to :

1) Totally forget about loot. Fuck it your there for the flag not the loot.

2) Have 1 group stay out of the fight to drag corpses the hell out of that room fast and get the gnome out of there and into the hall.

3) a shammy and chanter at each corner mezzing spiders until they die
3) recruit by email and give yourself a month to teach folks that sign up the dangers involved and the disciplines needed.

I haven't figured out how to get all that to work yet but thats the basics.

Took alot of balls to attempt him guys and it sounds like my worst nightmares of doing MB turned into a reality for yas.
dont be hard on kad lol hes gotten further with MB than anyone has open raided.

after all. when push comes to shove the bottom line is that the only control you have on an open raid is what the folks in that raid give you. no more no less)

MM HI join a guild and be patient and help your guild to do these target instead of doing pick up raids and then complaining ..

Open raids serve a two-fold purpose.

Back-flagging those people in uber guilds so the ubers don't have to waste time doing tier 1 boss mobs.

and

Flagging those people in smaller guilds who may just want to have access to higher end content and/or want better stats on their charm. Or hell, just want to help out.

After two Carprin raids, I'd be willing to vouch for the competancy of most of the people involved.

Don't think flagging was a consideration at all in kadainn's raid.

Be warned about ANY raid lead by Kadainn.
His methods were Noob like. His communication to everyone and Instructions were non existant.
When Behemoth was killed he and a scattering of monks, rogues and anyone else able to get up to the behemoth corpse Ran up there, training the gnome who we all wanted to hail for flag, killing him. then in /says sorted out the loot and gave HIMSELF the loot that he could use while the rest of us WEre Busy On CR. A true Greed monger only concerned with himself.

There is no need to crucify him. Yes the instructions were poor, that was the cause of the problems. However, on loot, the corpse was about to rot in seconds. He did loot in /say because only people where were there RIGHT THEN had a chance to loot before it rotted. I was there at the time.
