He tried to throw some evidence into a lake, including a crowbar used to bludgeon one of the victims. The lake was frozen, though, and he shouted a profanity when the crowbar remained on the surface, according to the affidavit.
It's an interesting issue though, all unintentional funny aside.

I was considered for the jury of a murder and rape of a 9-year old. The lawyers made us all do a 3-hour written voir dire and some of the questions were about what crime dramas we watched.

To this I say, DUH!
