I've been seeing previews for this. I'll probably watch it (guilty pleasure), but I just have this to say to CGI animators everywhere:

The roar pose is overdone.

It seems like every godforsaken cgi monster just has to introduce itself by throwing it's arms back, it's fangs forward, spending half a second getting the pose right, then roaring. It's about the most fake action a cgi character can make, as real critters a) don't roar AFTER they show themselves and b) don't pose before roaring. I find it to be the biggest reason cgi characters fail to suspend my disbelief.

Even so, Brendon Fraiser is fun to watch, so I'm looking forward to it.

I *loved* the Mummy movies. So glad to see it back (even the somewhat mindless story of the Second one didn't put me off). But very sad to see Weisz not reprising her role as Evelyn.

My blockbuster had a deal where if you buy the Mummy or Mummy Returns of Scorpion King you could get a free ticket to see this film :D

Regardless I'll see it, so many movies to watch this summer so little time.

Journey to Center of the Earth looked in the previews like way too much obvious CGI for my liking, even more than commonly seen already in live action films these days (animated features excluded of course).
