I've been seeing previews for this. I'll probably watch it (guilty pleasure), but I just have this to say to CGI animators everywhere:
The roar pose is overdone.
It seems like every godforsaken cgi monster just has to introduce itself by throwing it's arms back, it's fangs forward, spending half a second getting the pose right, then roaring. It's about the most fake action a cgi character can make, as real critters a) don't roar AFTER they show themselves and b) don't pose before roaring. I find it to be the biggest reason cgi characters fail to suspend my disbelief.

Even so, Brendon Fraiser is fun to watch, so I'm looking forward to it.
