Watched this over the weekend, and was pleasantly surprised by a fairly accurate portrayal of the mid-70's rock and roll scene.
Dakota Fanning impressed me with her growing maturity in "Push", and she has really started coming into her own; she is no longer the child actress but a young woman.
Kristin Stewart finally has a role she can act in and she shows much, much more talent than she has offered in those silly vampire movies.
I was in my early-mid 20's when the group hit the music scene and remember all the hype about them being just a jail-bait novelty act, but the ensuing careers of Lita Ford and Joan Jett showed they were true rockers.
Based on Cherie Currie's book and with consulting with Joan jett (who also was a producer), this movie was a realistic retelling of a piece of rock history. I liked it!!
