Hey, my mate has been pressing me to watch this for yonkies, and I've finally downloaded it.
Any Ayonae-reviews before I sit down and watch this sometime over the weekend? Any fans, critics, directors out there?

I worked on the show for a few days back when I first started - it kicked my ass. But everything is shot on location in Baltimore, opposed to shooting it all in Hollywood soundstage and doing a few days on the streets a year to make it seem like you are in Baltimore. And the creator worked for the Baltimore Sun as a reporter, so he knew his shit - most of it is based loosely on real life. That being said, the 16+ hour days nearly killed me and I was happy to move on when their regular guy got off vacation :) Don't work on the show, just watch it.

I haven't watched it in awhile, but the first few seasons were pretty good.

Only watched a few episodes, due to other stuff being more important to view at that time, but the bit I saw was good and reviews always sounded good too.
