So, he's going through the pretrial to see in the Army wants to follow through with the the official charges. And given the mountain of evidence against him I'm fairly certain they will.

But I do have to ask, WTF?! with the defense. The CPL Klinger defense isn't one at all, I could see if they were trying to put him out of the Army for being gay, but last I checked being a member of the LGBT community doesn't preclude oneself from knowing right from wrong.

Seems to me, that had they attempted to push him out of the Army then they'd say he did it because they were forcing him out and he loved his country so much or some other bullshit.

We need to hurry up and hang the little fucker.

The defense has an obligation to him, but yeah, it seems pretty one sided since he got sold out. It's still a sad, sad shame what they've been doing to him in the meantime, given they clearly have a strong conviction for what he did do, as opposed to what they were hoping to indict other people with.

Yeah they handed out a bunch of slaps on the wrist, and a few others got some more severe punishment. But at the end of the day, this kid is going to rot and rightfully so.
