I saw the video and the guy was immobilized and unconscious.

We also have these things called courts of law and that whole due process thing...otherwise...we become nothing more than...well...what these cops are, a mob that ignores all constitutional protections of our citizens from government abuse.

If I did what that guy did, I would expect the cops to kill me. Guilt was proven, justice was carried out, although a bit harsh I will not shed a tear for the asshole. Maybe if people realized that the cops might kill your ass if you attempt to kill them, they wouldn't be as shocked.

I am actually kind of torn. On one hand I agree with Jedd, fuck this guy. On the other hand its not really acceptable to kick the crap out of someone thats not resisting. That said I wont shed a tear for either side. My only hope is the guy died when he got thrown out of the car.

Like I said, I don't support these kinds of brutality, however i will never shed a tear for this kind of criminal, nor will I judge the officer myself. Those officers were in a life threatening situation and one almost got run over by that suspect. The anger is warranted, and the punishment deserved.

HAHA, I think what the video shows is a pack of wild pitbulls frothing at the mouth at its captured prey. That cop threw a tack strip in front of a moving car....duh he almost got killed. I think when the guy flew out of his window and piled drived his head into the ground knocking him out cold...the chase was over. I expect some sort of reservation with police....just a "little".

Yeah, cops should be on a high standard, and that standard is they should follow the law. Yes you try to kill a cop, roughing up a little fine, tack on some extra charges, even better, but this was blatant the guy was probably hurt pretty bad already and unconscious.

They should be fired, and be brought up on criminal charges because they were TRAINED in the law more than an average citizen and made a conscious choice to go beyond those limitations.

They where fired, all 5 of them. Justice was served.
