99/100, those are all computers infected with a trojan like Storm, attempting to spam all over the web, unknown to their owners. Distributed bot-nets like that have become a big problem.

All those machines are trying to spam forums without their owners knowledge because their owners did something dumb.

It's odd that they would be looking at random pages like vBookie. That's more the behavior of a spider than a spammer (though I suppose they could be spiders looking for email addresses).

They spider for email addresses, IM handles, post/comment links/forms, and private messaging functionality. You can tell it's a spam-bot-net instead of a legit spider, by the variety of residential IPs it's coming from at once.

See...this is why I like to reformat from time to time...LOL
