Watched this yesterday - give it a 9 out of 10 easy. Dead on mix of sci-fi magic, comedy, and action.

Bring on The Avengers, that's all I can say!

Did Stan Lee make a cameo in it?

I'm so excited t go see it tomorrow, I've been way to busy this weekend, last two questions I ahve are:
1) any good previews to look foward to?
2) were there any clips for the up coming Advengers / Capt. America movies?

I saw a trailer for Captain America, but that didn't really count. Stay to the end of the credits, there's something at the end.

Ah crapola - is there really? As soon as the credits rolled I was heading for the doors, and my wife was like 'It looks like there might have been something else'. I better keep that quiet!

After the credits:
Nick Fury shows the doctor(Skaarsgard) a box containing a blue cube, the comic book geek in me thinks it's the cosmic cube

I was wondering what that was Grey, I didnt keep up much with any of the Thor or Advenger comic books. I only picked up a few when they did the cross-overs during the Infinity Wars / Gauntlet / Crusade. But it sucks that we have to wait till November with the least for the next clue :D

the spoiler item in question pops up in the Marvel universe in multiple books. Thanos had it, Professor X even had it for a VERY short period of time. It's one of those items that just floats around until some writer decides he needs a reason to shake up the Marvelverse.

10-to-1 says the item is the back drop for the Avenger movie.

I enjoyed the movie but it seemed too short. I've never read any of the Thor comics and only know of his story from Ultimate Alliance. I can't wait for Avengers!

As a youngster, I gobbled up everything I could get my hands on of Greek and Norse mythology, so I was not too thrilled with the Thor comics. The movie, based on the previews and articles available, looks like an even worse departure from the mythology so I will be waiting for it to be a Netflix offering.

Actually I thought they handled the meeting of Science and Magic quite nicely, though I have to admit I wasn't a fan of the other Norse "gods". Thor was cool, the rest looked like casting call rejects from Captian Power.
