Seeing that the Plane of Time resets only five days per instance, and only one guild can be inside there at a time, a rotation, whether or not discussed among the other Time guilds, is required. It's still undeniably the easiest place to farm for upgrades, but many guilds are eyeing newer content. Fast progressing guilds have already ended Time runs because the loot were not upgrades anymore, and time could have been better spent learning encounters in Tacvi.

Only one guild in Tacvi and beyond atm I believe.
You are correct, EW gave up farming time due to it's lack of real upgrades.

On our server, there hasn't been any "new" guilds to Time in a while. Turul Legion is the only new addition, and they didn't alter the rotation at all.
As for guilds moving on, none have moved on for a long time I don't believe -- only EW is finished with Time on our server.

additionally.
Time rotation is enforced by Sony. Break it and get your guild disbanded and your toon suspended.

I'd be fairly surprised if the current Time rotation lasted to the end of the year. IVM, LS, and RiP all likely have an idea when their last run is going to be, and I'd expect them all to be in Qvic come November. Fellowship of Dragons might make it to Time before the end of the year, but with only 1 or 2 guilds per timezone slot, the "rotation" isn't reallly a concern at all.

And, this is going to be a mute point anyway, what with Time becoming fully instanced and all....

MOOT point! Mute points are silent. Moot points are the ones that don't matter!

About the moot point #1 (http://www.worldwidewords.org/qa/qa-moo1.htm)
Moot point #2 (http://www.everything2.com/index.pl?node_id=1021712)
Ah, so it is "moot" and not "mute". C'est la vie.
(Wow, there has been two days in a row in which we've received some sort of language-related education here. ;) )
