A 3 part series, this is an interesting take on the Wizard of Oz on Sci Fi. Anyone catch this? I've seen the first part and waiting to catch the next two this Sunday. All 3 will be on back to back 5-7, 7-9, 9-11 on SciFi this Sunday.

KEL I LOVE YOU! we switched from brighthouse to verizons fios and lost the tin man we dvr'd.

Was a pretty good show. Watched the last part last night kind of an interesting twist on the original but think I read somewhere it was written in 1901 before the original OZ.

The way they refer to OZ as the O Z cracks my g/f up she keeps thinking of the OC and says it kind of ruins the atmosphere but liked it as well.

We caught the first episdoe but haven't seen the other two yet. It's definitely interesting and the Azkadellia chick was hawt until her boobs came to life as monkeys. Then I got a little creeped out. =\

Lots of tongue in cheek references to the Wizard Of Oz: Toto = Tutor, DG = Dorothy Gale, the memory of the two sisters together gathering apples after DG "coaxed" the trees to throw them and how she had read it somewhere, etc.

I watched and taped all three parts. My son Ryan would not lie down for a nap unless we had Wizard of Oz in the VCR for him to watch as he fell asleep, so this has always been a story with a place in our family. I liked the way they handled this rewrite, as they maintained continuity and did a decent job of explaining things along the way.

Consider this the Goth version, hehehe.
