Shortyrez, this is not an attack on somebody. I am just saying that I am giving some advice to this one particular person. If he takes it or leaves it who knows? I did not use any abusive language nor did I slur his name. I would have sent a tell ingame but can not. I've been on duty and won't be home till later tonight.

The reason I did this is not in retaliation for an action against myself. While in HHK, he had somebody kicked out of his group because they were new to the game. When the individual asked why, via a tell, he spammed the zone ,in /ooc, calling them newb and other less flattering remarks. Apparently he didn't want anybody to slow down his leveling and he didn't want to "babysit a newb".

What kind of example are we setting when we treat new players like this? This newb did not beg him for gear or plat. She only wanted to play the game and have some fun. Isn't that why we all originally bought this game?

I guess the true reason I posted was to blow off some steam. You see, this newb is my RL wife. After over a year and a half I finally got her to play. She asked me if all people were like this. I told her they were not and that, for the most part, the people that play are well mannered and civil if not out right friendly.

My apologies go out to A. Pimpjuice if I have offended. That was not my intention. All I wanted to do was give some advice. Maybe it is some advice a few others can take to heart.

yer right..i shoulda known better given his name, but hell, i thought it was kind of funny. and i like smartasses (smartass-i??) but i dont like outright rudeness. as i said to Mr. PJuice, if i was doing something wrong, i woulda welcomed constructive criticism. but he just booted me with no forewarning and no explanation and then made the smartass shout "anyone looking for a group who ISNT a NOOB?!" that's just rude and well...im annoyed.

on the flipside, aelani...are you the very nice guy who took pity on my lost, pathetic-ness and gave me some really spiffy gear?? if so, thank you soooo much! was really sweet of ya, specially coming from a self-described "dick" lolol ... dont get mad at me..you said it...i was trolling through the threads and got all caught up on the one that talks about latex twats and such..heh heh heh.
