I read about this guy last week. He played Star Craft for that entire time. How could anyone get so wrapped up in a Star Craft game that they didn't hardly sleep, eat, or drink for 50 hours? I can't imagine a single map taking 50 hours that one would get that wrapped up in it.

Since it was an internet Cafe' he was at I think it likely he was battling others in Starcraft. Back when I used to play SC the Koreans were opponents you didn't want to see on the ladder.

Imagine all the caffeine he ingested after 50 hrs. I bet it didn't help his heart condition.

they rent the computer there for 24 hour blocks. He had quit his job and been playing nothing but games. I think this latest stint finally wore him out.

Maybe he was suicidal and it was a rough parallel to the movie "Leaving Los Vegas", only with gaming being substituted for the booze and the lack of a compassionate prostitute.
