I read a few...and they were very unimpressive and reeked of propaganda rather factual reporting.
For example...#1 stating that a million had died by one poll and then comparing it to genocides. The title makes it sound like US forces were killing Iraqi's...they go on to say:
"Even with the lower confirmed figures, by the end of 2006, an average of 5,000 Iraqis had been killed every month by US forces since the beginning of the occupation."
I find this hard to believe.

Nowhere does the article say the laws were used to seize assets, nor does the quote from the law say anything close to that.
Scanned a few of the others but, IMO, it appears bad Journalism is why these were sat upon.

About a third of a second of Googling finds:

Beyond that, I don't know that the point is that everything on that list is truth. If "truthiness" were a requisite for the news we see, Fox News wouldn't be allowed on the air!
The fact that the law exists and almost no one knows it is more the issue. Especially with an administration that is known to interpret overbroad anytime it's to their utility.

Most of that is damn old news, and was reported on, just not in a useful or comprehensive fashion.
The Lancet study in particular (million dead brown people in Iraq) is the best census of Iraqi fatalities period. It was news 3 years ago when they compiled it, now it's just another example of the reality-control field around the current administration -- it's a secret to nobody but us.

Sounds like someone needs to remind the White House who really runs this country, and it's not Dick Cheney, nor the Oil Companies....
