Seen the first two episodes, think it shows much promise.

Aye, it's right up with Doctor Who here at the moment.
Good show - though not to my fancy, which is strange as I usually like that sort of thing.

I finally got to catch the first couple of episodes. It is an interesting story line but the acting is a tidbit on the cheesy side. I'll keep watching it though; it's interesting:D

I've been watching this via iTunes, and wondered if there was any more interest here in the show? Season 1 is good, but a little rough as the actors and writers find their pace. Season 2 is very strong, the kind where I have a hard time getting up after one episode and not just watching them all. Good adult scifi.
Dr. Who is up on iTunes btw, which means perhaps NBC will put BSG back.

I've watched them all, both on BBCA and the Directv HD channel.
Great show, you'll love the end of season two.

PLUS!! The Doctor Who finale adds us two more people to Torchwood that make me giddy in the pants.
Fun fact. When Doctor Who was in 2nd season production they didnt want anyone to know which tapes where Dr. Who due to theft so they used the code word torchwood (rearrangement of the words Doctor Who, i know its cool..) THe crator liked the name so much he used it for his next show.

Is a third season in the works, or am I doomed to be depressed when I hit the end of season 2 this week?

Other than waiting on BSG, and maybe Heroes, I have all but given up on new series the last year or so.
I called and canceled HBO the other day out of sheer frustration over the numerous shows they put together that I loved but which would suddenly be gone, with no explanation.
What the heck, less TV means I can get caught up on my reading. I was just thinking the other day that I need to reread some of Anne Rice's books: "The Witching Hour", "Lasher" and "Taltos".
I might look in on TorchWood to see what it is about, but I am loathe to get hooked on another series that leaves me with no conclusion. (Think - Carnivale, Deadwood, John From Cincinatti)

Ok, Ok.. don't judge me, but I'm lovin' Ghost Whisperer at the moment.
Not just for her giant titties.
It's taken until the end of S3 to really develop a strong cast of characters - and unfortunately the best one, Jay Mohr, is being replaced by Jamie Kennedy from S4 onward - but the S3 finale was incredible, especially the last scene, and this show has genuine frights in it.
So judge ahead, but that's what's currently on Halo's TV at the moment.

I have always thought Jennifer Love Hewitt's best role was in "Sister Act 2", where her one line in the movie was "What are we going to wear?", and she was little more than just one of the group of students.

Sounds like I need to add this back into my TiVo grabs. I watched a few but it just didn't hold me.
