My bad for not opening up this thread earlier. It is hard to get excited about the tour for the non-cycling community since Lance is gone but it has been pretty good through stage 9.

If you never cycled it is truely amazing at the endurance these guys have.... especially the 'climbers' that rocket up climbs that aren't even able to be categorized they are so steep.

Lance was truely in a class by himself.

With Jan Ulrich and Ivan Basso retired/kicked out it is anyones race.

This has been a fun tour :) Those guys are crazy haha! Death defying descents are awesome.... 50+mph on a bike down a mountain that has no rails.... one mistake and they could be dead.

Okay great. Vino has be busted with an transfusion infraction..... after winning a time trial stage, bonking the next mountain stage, then winning stage 15 (another mountain stage).

geez cycling is fracked.

Okay I haven't posted on this subject in a few days... but if you haven't been following it the guy who was in the lead for like a week was pulled from the race after his team couldn't account for his whereabouts during a training period prior to the race.... implying that he was out doping.

So the cyclist stage some sort of protest and all waited 13 seconds before riding after the beginning gun was fired... haha. That will show them!

Anyway I'm a TdF fan but getting really sick of the doping bull EVERY year.
