Hopefully we can have some semblance of knowledge as to who is going to be our competition, who is farthest ahead, and who are close behind on Tribunal before the merger goes ahead. I'm sure many Tribunalites wish to know the same about Ayonae Ro so i'll start - I will attempt to list all of the guilds.

So for a brief introduction:

The top guild almost undisputedly on Ayonae Ro at present is Rest in Peace. They have recently broken into Inktu'ta, and apparently ploughed through it, they are now in txevu and are working very strongly in DoN at present, they also have Yar'lir and one mpg raid trial to their name.

They are on the EST/PST timezone and are looking very strong at this point.

Leader = Palarran

Landslide is the second guild on the server at current. They have beaten one MPG trial and have progressed through GoD up until inktu'ta. Their energy seems to be directed toward DoN progression at present, though :)

They are a European guild, but due to the release of WoW they recently all but collapsed. They seem, however, to be making a comeback and have been raiding lately.

Third would be with little doubt Fellowship of Dragons, who are the only other guild currently in time. We have currently beaten time and are looking at moving into GoD in the foreseeable future, having in our possession an ikkinz key. Outside our time nights we're working on OoW raid targets for loot.

FoD is a half raiding, half family guild, with nightly raids occurring, but a very family atmosphere, and no minimum attendance requirements.

We're on EST/PST and are looking excessively stable.

Fourth, again without much doubt would be Vallis Aspectus. Vallis have copious amounts of members and epitomise a raiding family guild, with no minimum attendance requirements and unlike FoD, without a stong expectation of raid attendance if online. They are now time flagged :)
They are an EST/PST guild, and they're not looking remotely like collapsing.

Next perhaps would be Final Destiny, they have killed Fennin ro a second time, seemingly having come back from the lapse that occured with eq2/wow release. They also have expanded into OoW for epic 1.5 hits and are looking at smashing headlong into GoD by attempting the ikkinz raids.

Next at a guess would be Lost Fires. From what i've heard, this is a family guild with a focus on raiding, with three to four guild raids a week. They've just started into elementals but are much more interested in expanding ******ds (why the fuck is "o u t w a r d s" being *'d out?) and looking at all that eq has to offer, at every stage of high end, in a collective expansionwide course of progression.

Descendants of Anarchy are a guild that has a very relaxed atmosphere, that enjoys low pressure on their guild members. Currently they've had a high focus on keying up for VT, and are looking at breaking into VT very soon. They are not looking at over-extending themselves by heading into Planes of Power at present, and raid attendance while online is not required. A very casual raiding guild it seems.

You can have two L-tags if you ask a GM. When I was still playing, my guild Leviathan had two guildleaders, Lacroix and Consequencez (one the leader for administrative stuff, the other for raiding/strategy forming).

Legendary Companions - Our European guild which is the result of a guild merger. Time+

Southern Legion - Most Australian/NZ. No clue what they raid or if they still do.

I believe so, guilds are the core of the high end game, and i would be VERY surprised if sony did not make provision for the fact that it would be EXTREMELY inconvenient to retag every single member of every single guild. There will naturally be no issues with guilds of the same names, so i really don't see why not, and hope like hell they don't see why not either :)

We are a 'more than casual, less than uber' guild, we have indeed broken into the elementals, but have since then lost our raid leader and several others to more uber guilds. We wish them all well and we continue on without them.

We focus on fun rather than loot, but we still get some medium to big targets. We are happy to hit stuff a year or so after the rush is past em. Glad to hear that there is no rotation on Tribunal cause essentially that wouldnt work well with our philosophy of finding stuff we havent beat and scrapping it out till we win. First Come First Served works well for those of us behind the power curve, and the less crap we have to farm for keys the better =)

Backflagging is the MF'ing devil. Think its bad for an uber guild, try doing it with our herd of cats =) That said, our recruiting is currently closed except for those who are elementally flagged or beyond, tho I suspect the merge may make us re-evaluate that.

Good luck to all on this move. Moving from Cazic Thule to Ayonae on opening day was the best thing VC ever did, hopefully we have similar results with this merge.

Nice list Grumblin. Lost Fires is a guild that I do consider a family style guild, and we raid 3-4 times a week. We have just started into the elemental planes and are also going through that thing that we do not wish to speak (backflagging). Our main goal is to have fun. We are dedicated to seeing the game in somewhat of it's natural progression, and the planes are where we are at currently. We have successfully completed the previous keyed zones such as Veeshan's Peak, Sleepers Tomb, and Vex Thal (/shudder).

It will be good to see some old friends again with the merger. Astill and Aranoth (known as cliff diver by us), you can't hide!

I hope Vex Thal farming is some kind of typo. When the EQ2 and WoW fallout lowered our numbers we went OoW to get epic 1.5's and hopped into GoD to get into Ikkinz. We did kill Xegony as well.

I hardly consider that chest thumping. I'm just tired of people slighting my guild. A year and half later RIP's front page mentions "whiny third party petition for duped flags". If you saw a post saying your guild was raiding a zone you hadn't entered in a year wouldn't it strike you as odd? I know we have an active and "colorful" posting community here so maybe I just slipped up and replied to flamebait. Reading it struck a nerve so I wrote what I thought.

Descendants of Anarchy is a low key , low pressure guild. Most of the leadership come from other guilds and grew tired of the "raid every night mentallity". Not that it's a bad mentallity, just not for most of us. We have some "time" geared peeps but mainly focus on old world mobs and showing people zones/mobs from the old world. We start VT this weekend. We do not do much PoP or GoD at all. Honestly, we raid with about 25-30 at night when we hit targets. If planar progression is your goal, DoA is not the guild for you. Loot is DKP and only officers are required to raid.

Yes, Jay, there still is the Diamond Circle, small quild but very family oriented. We won't shoot you if you have to travel for work(RL) and can't play. We'll still love you and group with you when you get back. We are one of the oldest quilds and in our time have over 400 mains. We have also been as low at 2 mains and survived. We're like a pitbull....we have something good and we won't let go of it.

Our goal is to get a raid force equipped and get back into the GoD zones over the next couple of months then complete the MPG trials for anguish.

We are also progressing through the DoN content.
