I thought I had started this thread already, but I have always thought it would be good to allow players to sell NO DROP items to the Tribute Masters for Tribute Points! I want to see if we can get enough folks to do a /feedback about it in game or to send a feedback to SoE via this link: http://eqlive.station.sony.com/community/dev_feedback.jsp?null
I hate to see items rot or see inventories fill up with "rotting" items because there is no better use for them! Quests use ND items all of the time to armor up NPCs for certain things (i.e. the final Prayer Shawl run where you have to give the ND armors to the dorf in order to start it. So, why not be allowed to sell old ND items to Tribute Masters so that the Wayfarer's Brotherhood (or whomever the armors are intended for via the TM) can utilize them for to protect and defend righteousness (or, I suppose, evil in the case of evil races)???
So, if you feel the same way do a /feedback in game or go to the link above and tell the devs :hat

One thing I neglected to mention in my first post is that they should also allow people to turn off certain Tribute effects while out in the battle field instead of having to go back to the TM to turn off say Spell Haste IV and keep on or add Mana Regen V. Certain fights or groups need certain effects more than others (for example the Zek's mainly are ranged fights, so you need to be able to add to your spell range, but may not need to have other effects on). Allowing us to turn them off/on each individually would certainly save Points when they do not need to be spent and save us plenty of hassles travelling so much as well. Just my 1/50th of a dollar...

Aye, nodrop should be tributable, or at least sellable to NPCs for fix prices.

If NO-DROP items were "tributable" I would eventually miss out on a lot of phat rotting loot. I have gotten many good items from Plane Of Earth that were just rotting. I say NO to this idea.

I say NO to this idea. Not that I am against you getting the phat rotting loot, but since you did not earn it in the first place I see no reason for you to be mad if people that did earn it could use it to their advantage.
One thing that was brought up elswhere that I had not even thought of, however, is that even though you can give it to the TM ... the item is still ND and if they follow the same rules as we do, then they could not give the armors to others to use (which was a main idea for justifcation I had).
Another point that was brought up that makes a little sense is the fact that when you give a sellable item or give plat to the TM, it is profit that you will no longer have ... hence making the tribute seemingly more worthy.
It was a nice idea at first, but other than the making changes to the Tributes in the field I think it has been shown to be poorly thought out

Items that drop in omens that are no drop can be turned in for Tribute. Those real nice 2 handers that drop in Riftseekers with 250+ hp/mana sell for 2k tribute lol.

thats nuts ibudin, in a bad way. Why is something like a windblade or a lost dungeon drop from South ro worth more than that? It boggles the mind.

I suspect its a bug at the moment and you wont be able to turn it in down the road. But for all the no drop items we have encounterd in Omens from raids that no one wants, they are turned in for tribute.
