I guess personally I am not that worried about it being bought out by EA as long as the Dr's stay in control. However, I evidently have odd taste in companies, I am still a sony fanboy :-D

Actually, this is REALLY good news!

Keep in mind EA also owns Mythic, who in turn have dev'd Dark Age of Camelot and are developing Warhammer Online. Being in the Beta for Warhammer Online, I'll say this much, you're going to be in for a treat. The beta servers stand back up in December, so it'll be interesting to see what they will have done with the game since they took down the servers last month.

Anyone got any more info on this? I'm very curious! Launch date?

It's still only a strong rumor. Bioware's MMO in Austin is still a secret on what it is, So all information is still speculation unfortunately! I know this Day one that I can sign up I am, gotta get in beta !
