For anyone less than 30 years old, this page from 1985 of tech updates should give a good laugh; and, for those of us over 30, it is a fun walk down memory lane.

So, do you think we have come as far intellectually as we have technologically?

(I must give credit to Patronus from my guild for making me aware of this page.)

Someday we’ll all have phones as portable as the 11-pound Mobira Talkman.
I'm particularly excited about this future development.

The Amiga...that definitely brings back memories (I had a 2000 or 2500).

I had an Amiga 1000 with some clunky third party memory added on. Later upgraded to an Amiga 2500.

My very first machine was an Atari 400 game console with the chiclet keyboard, I'm dating myself! Was fun to pop open and plug in chips and stuff tho.

When I read through this page and saw the paragraph on Windows 1.0 and whether it could compete with Macintosh I immediately started calculating how much disposable income I had back then and what I could have now if I had invested it wisely.
