I think they're still offering up so many beta invites per week until either 20k users is achieved, or they hit a server load that is a detriment to the game.

If you have the game pre-ordered, you'll be able to pick up your box in Jan. The game won't release until Feb, but you'll be automatically invited to Beta 5 (Open Beta).

Wow the game needs a lot of work. Its laggy as hell, and keeps crashing on me all the time, and truthfully looks a lot less fluid than EQ2. Disappointing :(

I must say I agree with you. Gameplay was atrocious however they have some really neat concepts. If this game comes out before March it will suck :(

From what I understand, this is supposed to be how it goes down (according to the forums and EB Games):

January 07 - Pre-Order boxes come in.
Febuary 07 - Beta 5 starts - Pre-Orders are immediately entered into Beta 5.
March 07 - Game launch - Very tentative depending on how Beta 5 works.

I am lookin to aquire 1 or 2 beta accounts to play.... if you dont play yours or know a way to aquire them, I am willing to offer EQ plat for them :(
