Vaxumgax has been re-sold at least once.

You're not dealing with the original owner. Vaxumgax #1 (who leveled him to 65 and made him a Smithing machine) PA'd out perhaps 5 or 6 months ago, and is since retired. I believe the account has changed hands at least once since the original sale.

You're probably dealing with Vaxumgax #3 or #4.

Harbinzhurus has been parking at my house for about a year straight - he'd come over every day and play Everquest, hang out with my girlfriend, and basicly be my "roommate without his own bedroom." I'd come home from work, and Harby would be sitting there, playing Everquest.

About 2 weeks before Selan got his car towed, Harby's car was faslely towed. We even found the parking pass in Harby's car, in the impound lot, stuffed under the seat -- as if either someone wanted to fuck with Harby, or as if the towing company realized thier mistake and tried to cover it up. No matter, at the time you could call our HoA, make a protest, and get the tow charges dropped (or reduced to a small fee -- I don't recall for sure).

Anyway, so Harby's car gets towed, and I make the angry call to the HoA. We find the pass in his car, and all is forgiven.

Two weeks later, Selan parks at my complex (without a pass) to go see a ballgame and gets towed.

Having just made a call to the HoA for Harby's car, I'm not in a position to eat another one, and Selan eats a tow and impound charge. I felt bad at the time.

The amusing part was, he could have just asked me for a pass.

In a complete and total hijack, I just thought I'd mention for no apparent reason (other than the fact that Palimax brought his name up) that Harbinzhurus is quite possibly the sexiest person I've ever met (at least by my 'not too far towards either end of the gender spectrum' standards). Talk about a tingle. Too bad our paths never crossed again, but then again, maybe that was a good thing ;)...

That wont work, I could put anyones character name here and make up a thread like this and say they ebayed. Same with posting names in auctions. I could make an auction saying drizzen or episte or something like that but sony wouldnt buy it. You can get account back with original email, zip code, billing info and some other info. Just call them up and be firm and decise and they will give it up with just some basic info about you.

or if you want, petition to a GM with the login name and have them check the billers. If there is more than 1 it proves it's a EULA violation and they will ban them. Happened to my friend. Casue he had a friend paying for him. GM's normally won't ban someone if they know they are sold etc.. it's only when a player brings it to their attention that they have to.

The station name would help .that along with all my e mail evidence and this guys name and address phone number. and Link to the @#%$ add . may probably get him banned..

You have bought a "well known" toon. Not an "anonymous" toon, or a "bad reputation" toon.

The original owner of this toon is known personally by a number of people who still play on this server. The date he originally sold that toon is also known to a number of them. (i'm not one of them, I only know him from association in game, and association with these people.)

This falls under the "multiple sources of information" category of believability.

That the toon has now fallen under control of a scammer in the course of it's trail of buyers and sellers is a bad thing.

That having his toon be under control of a scammer is annoying to the original owner seems to be the only reason he took action to assist you.

The proper reply to the pa person complaining that he lost control of his account for the time of the auction is that bad reviews are one of the serious consequences of not maintaining good security over ones password.

Implying that the original user of the toon is somehow responsible for the actions taken by successive owners is gonna get you nowhere. Implying that the original user of the toon is the same person as the scammer is going to get you laughed at. That person IS KNOWN. Has a sterling reputation.

This guy who you refer to above was *The second owner* The first owner sold this char on or before 12/08/02

*The second owner* I have spoken to via mail and has told me he used This char to smith only mainly.
And had the char on or just before 04/21/03 until on or before 06/09/03 when the Third owner took over.
