Not sure how familiar you good folks are with the political situation in Canada at the moment. Needless to say, we're trying to get help for our buddy Fabien, his story is here:

Just figured I'd throw this out there being a Vet myself. Everyone has this great image of Canada looking after the less fortunate, ESPECIALLY it's military. Hate to burst your bubble, but it's only going to get worse.

He's on day seven now and still going....

VA Strikes again. God forbid you don't give them the money you owe in time..One hand over there doesn't talk to the other. Even with the GI BIll benefits, they still screw up the payments, overpay, underpay. THere just isn't enough accountability for all the screw ups. This guy is going to die of starvation, or be coaxed with a twinky.

Yep, that's Jeff, who head's up our organization OurDuty.org who wrote that. He's trucking into 8 days starting tomorrow and no one from Veterans Affairs has even contacted him, let alone anyone elected to office.
