Howdy folks
Just checking in to see how folks are doing with the game.
Getting into groups seems to be the challenge these days. I find myself soloing an awful lot. Anyone else having this problem?
Also, is anyone looking for help with questing and the like? Let me know in game, maybe we can do some stuff together. :)

Actually got into a really good Khegar's End group last night. For those that don't know, KE is one of the dungeons and is a mine that tunnels right into a mountain.
The dungeons in this game give me a huge EQ warm and fuzzy. No instancing here! There are no zone lines though, so you have to be on your A game.
Class abilities complement other classes through weaknesses imposed by certain abilities. I could get into more detail here, but I'd only be repeating what is currently posted on any VG site. I will say this, they were right when they said easy to play, hard to master. When fighting in a group it quickly becomes evident if the person is just learning their class or if they've had experience. Character and item buyers beware!
Groups are starting to pick up now as we're hitting the level where grouping is more feasible than soloing. You can still solo, and quite well I might add, but it pales in comparison to a good group heading into a dungeon. Levels are not doled out as fast as they are in WoW, but then again I've come to not even care. The game is too much fun, with FAR too much to do to actually concern yourself with grinding.
If adventuring gets boring after awhile, then go crafting or harvesting, if that gets tedious, do diplomacy. By the time you finish your diplomacy, you'll be itching to go out and fight again. There's always something to do, and not all of it requires you to put your character in danger, so if you're looking after the kids or doing chores (aka: folding laundry) the diplomacy and crafting bit is more schedule friendly.
Folks, this game is awesome, pure and simple. Believe me now, or believe me 3 months from now when everyone starts coming in droves. It is the true balance of EQ and WoW, taking the best of both worlds, and making it HUGE. I feel like I did back when I first played EQ all over again and it's AWESOME!! :D

It's funny to see the dramatic change on the hype meter at MMorpg.com

They pulled a genuine miracle out of their asses in the last month of beta.

Yeah tell me about it. People didn't believe me when during Beta 4/5 that there was daily improvements made.

To be honest, there's no more bugs than say when EQ or WoW was at their peak. I'm having fun, it's all that matters. :)

All I'm saying is be happy it went to SoE so their devs could help out ;) It would have been much worse otherwise.

Yeah, I hear you on that one. As soon as the boys and girls from SOE showed up, it was like they went into super, hyper, crack induced mode with the fixes and the updates. It was definately a smart move on Sigil's part.
PS: for the person that gave me a negative rep hit, two things:
1) If you don't like my point of view on VG or the game altogether (we're not discussing WoW, despite your comments on the neg rep hit), then why even come to this section? Did WoW even come up in the conversation for that matter?
2) Have the guts to say who you are. If I give a pos or neg rep hit, I at least will sign it ~Binny or ~Binuven.
Not an overly big deal, just annoying when people are afraid to back up their convictions with their identity, even if it's an online alias.
