Having massive lag problems. I have Pentium 3.0 processer, 2 gigs of ram and Geforce 5200 256 mb card. I've tweaked the settings as low as I can and yet I am getting massiver lag.

I'm thinking it's my vid card, but it seems liek this should be able to run Vangueard no probs. any ideas?

Aye, it would be your video card.

Though you don't need something absolutely insane (despite what some say), a decent AGP card will see you through. I'd probably recommend a 7600GS 256MB AGP, it should greatly improve your performance. Even here in the Great White North, as remote a location as mine, we can sell them here for under $200 and tax.

x2 While I did not like the game my 6800 with 256 megs ran it fine after they got around to optimizing the game right before launch.

I have exactly what you have except my video card is a GeForce 7800 GS 512MB. I have lag spikes that freeze the screen for about 1-3 seconds, when I move it freaks me out because of the freezing and unfreezing so frequently, makes me run past stuff and bump into stuff.....so I logged and will not log in until I have a new computer probably next next year. I am having too much fun in EQ anyways to think about another MMO.
