LoL just great L2. You wouldn't yell or thump on him but you'd force a vile chemical conncoction trying to pass itself off as a beer down his throat ;(

Least treat him to a nice Microbrewed beer. /chuckle

I just turned 21 a few months back, so my REAL experince with beers has only just begun. But one thing I do know is: Main Stream American beers blow goats.

I tried a Skull Splitter Ale from Scottland I liked. I love a strong beer (flavor and alcohol content).

Well when talking about beer you have to take into account two things. Does it taste good? Does it get the job done?

If you are out for a lovely evening on the town with that special someone and you are a light drinker, enjoy your European lager and have a few to get your buzz on and go frolocking through the city at night.

If you want to get fucking crunk(tm) grab a 30 pack of light beer to save some calories, preferrably Bud Light, though some people in other parts of the United States prefer Coors Light. Drink 6-12 beers (depending on your limit or how drunk you want to get), share the rest. You make friends this way and get a good buzz on. Take a piss not once, but twice. Then head out for a wild night on the town. Give your keys to the bitchy sober chick before you go.

Taino, if ya wanna have some GOOD barbeque in NYC, I recommend Virgils, which is 1/2 block off of times square (so 1-2 minutes walk). The Hush Puppies are cheap and the best you will get north of the Mason Dixon line.

That week is kinda tight due to holiday plans, but if you are setting up an EQ 'event' for one of the nights let me know and I'll see if I can take a train up.

Shew, all your design is gonna result in is a bladder problem. Two six packs? Seriously man, that's like 6 litres of pure liquid pouring right through you.

I'd actually like to reverse your scenario. If you're with a light drinker, go with the light beer, 'cause when it's about getting smashed it's all about quality over quantity.

Age old question:

Why is American beer like making love in a canoe? ;)

Americans only got light beer?

Real freedom is the freedom to drink massive quantities of shitty, watered down beer for $8 a plastic cup at an overpriced sporting event.

Americans only got light beer? It only gets worse. For the carbohydrate avoiding hypochondriacs out there we have Michelob Ultra! Shit, my own urine has a better bouqet and head on it that this swill. Fucking communists.

For the mass production beers i have to agree. We have some excelent micro brews though. (but yes, i drink mass production beers frequently due to cost issues)

I loved that canoe joke

T, you will go broke by the time you live the city. $5.00 bottles of bud (which is a pretty cheap/crappy beer), $12.00 sandwiches, etc. The city is crazy expensive, so watch yourself, but make sure you have one hell of a good time while you are there.

Taino hun its okay ~ most those days you're going to be here I wasn't going to be in town anyway. Going to North Carolina after Christmas for a few days.. :(

I hope you have a great time in NYC sugar ~ I wish I would have known ahead of time you were coming.

If you want the best bear in "America," come to Colorado. There are more microbrews available here than any other. Every decent liquer store has a massive selection of "strange" brew to choose from.

Isn't Colorado the home of Fat Tire? I love that beer, I am glad they started selling it in Texas.

As for the topic, sorry I'm not in that state. But you're welcome to send me an email if you are going to find yourself in northern california though I'm not in any part that you'd want to visit.

Never had that type. If I'm drinking a Belgian beer, I prefer Duvel or one of the trippel strength Trappist beers.

I can't buy those where I live now, though. I have to get them when I go back "home" to NY. North Carolina has some outdated, dumb ass law that prevents beers over a certain strength from being sold.

Stupid, stupid, stupid laws.

Wow,that sucks :( seems a little strange if they also sell spirits...Ohh well, nobody said laws made sense.Just that they were the law
