Anyone know if the quest that used to be in SolC for the piece to do the quest to turn a red dragon scale into a green dragon scale??? SolC no longer exists but did the quest move to another place?

SolC no longer exists Did SoE actually remove a zone from the game? That doesn't sound like a normal move for them.

it was a short term zone, something they came up with to give people some sort of sneak peak of what ldon could be like

SolC (Caverns of Exile) and ChardokB (Halls of Betrayal) were "pocket zones" - that were to further along the "story" or "lore" in EQ.

Well, long story short, due to popularity, they never got rid of the zones. SolC does still exist.

I know the quest is still listed on Allak but since SolC is not there anymore, does anyone know if there is another way to do the quest to change the dragon scale to green?

Yes it does exist. But to access it you need to go to Lower Guk, while in lower Guk ya go to the Assassin's camp on the south wall is a zone. When you zone you will notice that you are not yet in SolC but in Old Seb. Now that you are in Seb, in the zone between zone of Seb actually, ya go to the top of the map near a lava waterfall. Behind that waterfall is Sol C. GOOD LUCK!
