Heh... the thing is, though, I'm sure we could have a news crew go across the pond and do interviews over there and our select results would be the same. The average IQ in the British isles is estimated to be about the same as in the US: 100.

IQ isn't really a reflection of that sort of knowledge though. You could be a genius on the IQ charts and still be an uninformed moron.

True, but they do tend to go hand-in-hand. People of higher intelligence tend to like to be well informed. They tend to seek out knowledge more than the less intelligent.

I wouldn't necessarily agree with that. Definitely true in some social circles, but not as a rule.

Is it fair to point out that on a recent trip to Europe, it was someone from England who, upon hearing that a woman at our table was from Norway, asked what country Norway is in?
