I've had enough! I have been using hotmail for a couple of years now and never liked it at all, don't ask my why I haven't changed earlier. Would very much appreciate suggestions about what email to get instead?
Also, anyone know more about when gmail might become available?
.. Wow, don't I make long posts?! :p

pretty sure != sure.
You know it's bad when Swedes have a better grip on English than we do. :(
And yeah, GMail isn't public yet. Though, you can get spare invites pretty easy these days, if you ask around.

Yahoo recently expanded users' free email space from 10 MB to 100 MB. Pretty good deal for free email IMO. Of course look toward GMail when it's available.

Yahoo is probably the best "free" service currently available. Additionally they give you 2Gs of storage, forwarding to/from other POP accounts, and a bunch of other stuff for something like $15/year.
GMail is easy to get an invite to if you have any friends at all. I've gotten four or five without even asking, but I only use webmail for net sites and get most of my correspondence at my real email address, so I had no use for it.

thanks sanchek for clearing that out :p even though i am not entirely sure that it is very uncommon for swedes to have very good english skills. or maybe it's just me.. i dunno lol
hmm.. that aventuremail thing seems pretty cool actually, but does it give you an email like whatever@aventuremail.com? cause that's not only rather, well horrible actually, it's also too long imo
and as for having friends, yeah i do, most of them don't use computers though

That is amazingly dumb. The worst part is that they actually have at least one advertiser that I noticed.

i think they mention something about that on the page actually.. that's neat i guess but sucks not being able to enter your email when, for example, ordering stuff from various web shops.

The ScreenSavers said something about Gmail a couple of Sundays ago but i can't remember what it was. www.thescreensavers.com is their site if you want to see if you can't find it.

If anyone's still after a GMail account and can't find an invite in two seconds, this is a good place to get one (I signed up this morning, even though I'll never use it).
