It's a bit funny how there were so many millions of people pointing out how the Bush/Cheney crew and a majority republican congress were doing things, through either actions or inactions, that would bring our country to its knees...and look...we were right.

I like obama infinately more that Franken.....

It is hard not to view Franken through the lens of his former profession as a comedian, but I'm not going to judge him as a politician until he at least has had a chance to prove himself, one way or the other.

It was almost 100 degrees earlier in Texas, and yet they were pelted with ice as a hail storm drove through the area. We can be suprised at times.

Franken has had a career as a clown, but is an intellectual clown who studies the human condition in order to poke fun at it. I will hold judgement until I see his actions.

When a Democrat volunteer knocked on my door last October I told him flat out, I will vote for Obama but do not ask me to support Franken. Barkley got a pitiful amount of support, so I am forced to accept the 'lesser' of two evils.
