Elren, you continue to amaze me. The latest news I heard was you were fined 5k dkp and PERMA-BANNED from your OWN recruitment boards for trying to extort plat from a recruit. Nice job making someone pay to get in the guild...retard...
P.S HAHA IVM CAN'T POST HERE LALALALLALA :devil...the rules still are the same, right?

Oh c'mon, even Elren can't be this much of a degenerate and allowed to remain in guild.
I believe this rumor as much as the rumor going around right now that EW wants Elren in guild...../chuckle

Well, they established the precedent. Why deviate from it now? They cut Bohbo so much slack that now pretty much IvM membership can do anything they want as long as you have the DKP and the willingness to accept the fine. Fantor would never have put up with shit like that.

Was Bohbo like a little kid or something? I just couldnt understand why a guild like IVM would deal with him. I saw with my own eyes what a jerk off he could be. Like the one time he brings a train of skeles from ssra basement to the entrance training a whole raid starting to gather. Now there is no way a monk could train ssra entrance from the basement without doing it on purpose. I was like come on now.
Then when i tried to app to them they had the balls to say I had a bad rep lol. On my worst fucking day in my life i couldnt be as big of an asshole or embarrasment that Bohbo was.

Bohbo I do believe was or still is a college student in his mid twenties pursuing a professional degree. I could be wrong, but IRL I hear he is a good person. Its just in game where the dark side shows. Pretty typical of the Internet.
Its that good ole double standard that all guilds have, Xregg. Once you have a certain amount of tenure and upper echelon of skill to the point that you are a "Key Person", you no longer have to be a saint, or well behaved, or even civil anymore. If you are a total dick, but you play every single night, then you pretty much have carte blanche. That kind of reliability is crucial for an upper tier raiding guild, and there is a big investment from the guild into that person's toon. There is no way in a snowy day in Hell they are going to cut that person loose if they can avoid it. Remember, at that level of play, its all business, unlike a family guild where there is more focus on relationships between guild members.
Ultimately, these people then go on to serve as rolemodels for all these new applicants. Applicants that walked on eggshells to never mention the double standard, always keep their mouths shut, only do what they are told, or never bring up the flagrant disreguard of rules by older members all the while making the raid quota for their recruitment period. Still, it doesn't matter. The tag they will recieve over their head, along with all the status and goodies is what brings in the applicants, not the personalities of the existing members.
Unless you really, REALLY must have that one loot from Plane of Guildraid, stay with your friends that you know and trust.

Are you fucking kidding me? IvM and VV have -always- had the lowest common denominator. If you were a total shitbag but couldn't cut it in EW, you went to IvM. Ibyza, Nandari, Xthisu to name just a few. To Fantor's credit he at least attempted to keep them in line.

Fantor was a heck of a good leader. The best I ever saw in EQ. A real class act all the way through.

Back to topic...
Elren's name is now used among upper serverwide ranger channels in conjunction with such pearls as...
Rangers do HUDGE damage....
