Fishing for ideas/suggestions. Since Halloween is setting itself up to be the biggest night out in DC since the Inauguration w/ all of the younger crowd headed to town for the Daily Show rallys, I need a costume.

I was thinking of Dr Frankenfurter from Rocky Horror just for the sheer awesomeness of my legs in fishnets factor, but I'm also working the rally for the Show and that may be a tad unprofessional. And cold. Very cold.

What are you guys going as, if you are? Anyone else gonna be in DC for the events want to join us at Adams Morgan that evening?

Im wearing a wife beater with an open shirt, and jeans, blowing my hair out, using some temp bronzer, and when people ask who I am, I will lift up my shirt and say I am "The Fatuation"

Hard to go wrong dressed as a Jawa. Dark mask, LED eyes, and a brown hooded robe. All nice and warm. Switch to sand person if you are tall.

I'm going to be recycling my costume from a couple years ago. (mad butcher) it's a blood covered white ankle length jacket. with a few accesories it has a multiplicity of applications, IE the kinda doctor you can afford under Obamacare or say a part time gynegoligist, one who works only once a month. sadly the at the wrong time.

Flying back home for the first time since may to attend my friends soire. sucks because we usually spend all summer on building the props for the party and i missed out on all of that this year. we really are getting better on building the animitronics. no where near hollywood level or anything but a ton of fun to turn a bunch of 2X4's and a occillating fan you bought for a dollar at the thrift store into a zombie with a moving head.

No, you're probably a better person than I am... It's a reference to the guido-tard "The Situation" on Jersey Shore. I hate that show so much, it makes the rest of with a little Italiano in us look bad. But then pretty much all of jersey does that so yeah...

I hear there having a Zombie invasion in DC and other cities around the world this week as well. Some big publicity campaign for the new TV show Walking Dead. Damn, i really want to go to the Daily Show rally in DC saturday sounds like its gonna be a blast.

Same here (re wishing I could go to the Stewart/Colbert rally) - but I'm on my last 5.00 until next week and just discovered that one of the large trees on the southeast side of my house has started falling over... onto the roof of the master bedroom, killing next month's budget while I'm at it as it needs to be chopped up ASAP. So I've decided to stay home this year for once (Halloween is traditionally a travel weekend for me) and, seeing that I live in the somewhat creepy big old corner house with vines all over the fences in an old neighborhood, see if I can't scare the kiddies via a wicked witch costume I've whipped up out of some black sheets I have and some green face paint and wart putty ;) ). I did spring for a bag of candy and we'll see if any of them are brave enough to show up...

I have never actually watched the Jersey Shore but its hard not to see these guys somewhere in the media or a cameo on some random show.

Heh, heard Snookie described as Paris Hilton after being stuffed in a trash compactor and put in a dark wig....just another loud mouth celebrity wannabe that conned folks into making her one.

They had some good placards at the Stewart rally. 'I'm really angry but I'm sure I can take some more'.

I had a blast in Charlotte seeing old friends and being drunk and disorderly. I felt 15 yrs younger :) I still have glue from the fake scars on my arms though :(

My sister put like 6 up on facebook. I'll repost them here when I get home. People kept stopping me on the street asking to take a picture with me, was pretty epic.

I dont want to curse yoour collective eyes with pictures but let's just say the Fatuation was a huge hit, and i even had my Gf paint on abs to top off the costume.
