I own an XBox and obviously a computer. Everquest1 is a lil too antiquated and far beyond where my old character was for me, Everquest2 is a bit too repetitive, farming Nef and AQ in Warcraft is boring and will be until the expansion ... what else is there?

Any MMORPGs I'm missing, or stand alone games that can eat hours and hours until Christmas?

*edit* OR stand alone games. I haven't really played much of anything since EQ1 was released save Counter-Strike and Warcraft3. Especially a RPG or something.

Rise of Nations, Morrowind, Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, all of those are good time eaters.

Baldur's Gate - I remember hearing that was awesome.

Wein, lets get together any night this week except for Monday ... I'm working the Monday Night Football game.

Baldur's gate 1 was definately the better of the two.

EVE is a good time eater. As long as you're into PVP it isn't repetitive (missions and mining though...). Planetside is still kicking along. That's where most of my time has wound up lately, wating for the next big MMO releases.

Likewise, I'm looking for some decent single player games i can run on my laptop. I've got a pentium m 1.7ghz, 1gb ram, and a geforce go6200. Not too sure on how reliable my internet connection is going to be, given my location and all so looking for mostly single player games.

The commercial for that looks great. When the chewbacca lego rips off the arms of the storm trooper lego, i about wet myself.

Rise of Legends and Civ 4 are definate great time wasters!

I also go back to X-Wing Vx. Tie Fighter and the Quest for Glory series when I'm feeling nostalgic.

Waiting for Vanguard, Age of Conan and to a lesser extent 9 Dragons and Warhammer Online. Hopefully one of these will fill the void.
