The last book I finished aside from the ones I've already mentioned on the forum was Les Miserables (Fiction) by Victor Hugo. It's long, but very engrossing and even a little :o

Last book I read was Dog Days: Dispatches from Bedlam Farm by Jon Katz. http://www.amazon.com/Dog-Days-Dispatches-Bedlam-Farm/dp/140006404X Jon Katz is an amazing story teller, when I read his books I have this feeling that he's casusally sitting across from me telling the story rather than me reading it. Good stuff for a dog lover/owner especially one who owns a Border Collie as I do :)

Currently I'm trying to finish The Golden Compass, I had put it down to finish the above book.

The Dragons of the Highlord Skies.

The latest Dragonlance novel, that centers upon Kitara Uth Matar, and her acsent into the Queen of Darkness' army.

I was a little disappointed in the finale, as I felt the interraction between Lord Soth, and Kitara was "rushed".

The rest of the story was beautifully written, and is an excelent companion to the first three stories.

Cant wait for the last one to come out: Dragons of the Hourglass Mage.

Raistlin is back!

Still not a lot of free time for reading with the numbers out injured from work, and the overtime that involves for the rest of us.

Last completed was a reread of the Harry Potter series through the final book, and am trying to make a dent in a serious start of Eric Clapton's biography.

Sorry I am not available for the book club at this time.

What is the What! of course. followed by Fredrick Pohls "Heechee rendevous" good stuff from one the best Sci-Fi writers of all time.
Just started Carl Sagan's "Contact" loved the movie so hoping the book is over the top.
I too have slacked on keeping up with the Dragonlance lance series. have always been a HUGE Wiess-Hickman fan as many others have and have faith those that have taken up the franchise have done it justice and then some.
Speaking of Miss Margeret! If you havent read her Rose and the Prophet or Starfire series DO SO!!!!!

Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut. Not as good as Breakfast of Champions or Cat's Cradle imo, but still a really good read. Recently I started a campaign to read some classics that I've missed in the past. I had never read Vonnegut and now I can't put his stuff down.

Been several years since I've read an entire book. I think the last one I read was Hannibal by Thomas Harris. I may have read Storm of the Century by Stephen King after that, but I don't remember.

I don't remember the last book I had time to finish. On my wife's recommendation I'm currently reading Oryx and Crake, by Margaret Atwood. Great author, and I'm enjoying the book. A nice, easy read.

I've been bad about reading for the last few years, and now I'm mostly caught up in schoolbooks. However, I picked up Paul Krugman's The Conscience of a Liberal last week and am making good progress. Hard to remember the last fiction I read, but it was probably a rereread of Neil Stephenson's The Diamond Age.
