It's a different world on SWG, people are just WAY too nice here. There's no such threads as "You KS'd my Krayt" or anything like that. There's the occasional whine about some PVP but that's usually just bruised pride hehe. Damn Rebel bitches, I love watching them squirm under the new Imperial Crackdown.

For those that don't know, recent changes have added scans for contraband namely spice (drugs) and sliced weapons (increasing dmg, speed or accuracy). When an imperial gets scanned (depending on rank, NPC's will not scan someone of higher rank), then a shuttle lands and a platoon of stormtroopers show up, and if you resist they kill yer ass. Anyhow, don't resist and they fine you and that's that.

Now, if yer a Rebel (I love this part) and you get scanned, said shuttle lands, said platoon of stormtroopers dismount then they proceed to shoot, stab and grenade yer ass till the cows come home. And that's not the best of it! If you continue to fight, MORE COME! Hehehe, it's a great day to be an Imperial!

The game has gone through a LOT of changes Zehn, and I mean a lot. So severe in fact that they don't even recommend reading the player manual that comes with the game because it's totally different than the one available online.

I have to be honest, with the new content coming in I'm still having way more fun in SWG than I ever did in EverQuest as far as games go.

Regarding the fruitcake comment, I've finally gotten my first flame. Damn, it's taken long enough.

To be honest, regarding either games, it's what your into pretty much. I really didn't have the time for EQ anymore (things like wife, new child, new job, work, work, sex, more work, friends, etc tend to take that time away), and SWG allows me to do my own thing.

I considered myself a decent bard, nothing "uber" or anything but I could hold my own. Just moved on I guess.

Still hoping to get in on the WoW beta though. Man I'd be all over that like a fat boy on a smartie!

It's too bad though that Sony doesn't allow cross server/game chat even though it's the same company. The only thing I miss about EQ is the people I used to game with. :/
