If you have the ghost busters DVD listen to the audio commentary Ivan and Harrold have such great chemistry.

I don't see why we need to make a remake of it. The original was a classic and anything else is just going to diminish it imho.
Plus except for a very few, most remakes tend to fall far short of the originals. (Bewitched, get smart, dukes of hazard, the fog, ect)
I do agree that if they should make a third it should be a homage to the spirit of the original.
(On that note, i just BET they'll come out with a new gilligan's island or I dream of Jeanie movie...Ooh the horror!)

I dunno Crystana, I have liked a few 'revisits'. I see this very much in the Man In the Iron Mask mould - the original actors as aging mentors reprising their roles in a very young, fresh story line. And to be honest (don't lynch me), I very much liked that Musketeers remake.
Besides, could you imagine Paul Rudd and Seth Rogen as young ghostbusters? They're comedy gold right now, what Stiller/Wilson were 5 years back (and if they get the director of Superbad/Knocked Up/Pineapple Express fame, that's guaranteed fun).
Personally, I'm excited. And remember, Bill Murray doesn't do 'shit' these days. If the script isn't any good, he won't touch it. So if he stays in, I think this could be something.

I'm excited but I was hoping more for an aging Ghostbuster thing. This should be good though and it will guarantee my money.

The fact that they are making Land of the Lost a Will Farrel Comedy proves that there is no god :(
Man in the iron Mask was good imho.

And here I thought this was going to be his move into serious drama...
Seriously, I have not seen a Will Farrel comedy yet, as everything he does is a one trick pony rehashing SNL bits, or the mannerisms he developed there. He was good in short sketches; take it past the ten minute mark and it is five minutes too much of the same thing over and over. Plus, he cannot act.

I though Taladega Nights was pretty funny. However, The Legend of Ron Burgundy has the distinct honor of being 1 of the few movies I stopped watching, right in the middle of it.

Oh god, I couldn't stop laughing during Anchor Man. Maybe its just because what I do, but I thought it was hilarious. I feel like I know a lot of the characters in that movie, and one of my colleagues spent 6 weeks at the zoo waiting for that damn panda to give birth.

Anchorman is absolutely brilliant. Comedy gold, IMO.
