For fuck's sake, do they have to take every good show and turn into a cheesy comedy?

Depends on the script and director, really.

At one time, we would have never expected any of these guys to play anything beyond the class clown either: Dan Aykroyd, Steve Martin, Robin Williams, Adam Sandler, Jim Carrey, Jamie Foxx, Tom Hanks, Will Smith, and Bill Murray.

But yeah, it'll probably suck.

I have been extremely surprised by some of Robin Williams' dramatic roles. In "August Rush", he was downright frightening. I think he may have exorcised a few of his demons, allowing him to be more than a frenetic funny-man.

He was the villain in Law and Order last night. Was a good show.

Yeah, he really did a great job last night, and obviously the stage was set for a return.
