Santa (ok, I confess it was me) brought my girlfriend a Wii for Christmas, any game recommendations?

Wii sports comes with the Wii, and I got her Wii Sports Resort

Wii Fit is a good 1 too. I like the new work out ones I've seen on TV by Activision as well.

Also, as a side note... we need a gaming section that isn't "PC Gaming"

Wii Sports and Sports Resort are good. We've tried several other sports-like games for the Wii and haven't found any that we really like. There are some gimicky game packs out there, but most of them get old very fast.

I will say the accesories will kill us. $200 for the Wii, and another $40 for a Wiimote, plus another nunchuck and motion plus and all that crap. $200 for Band Hero, but that needs at least 3 wiimotes to play guitar, sing, and drum at the same time. And really we need another Wiimote and guitar to play a full band (for a bass) at parties and stuff. Long story short we're over $500 in and we only have like 4 games. Whew.

Damn! guess X-Box has the edge there for rockband. does the Wii let you download songs to the library?

Yeah. We got band hero because its instruments work for rockband songs, but rockband instruments (namely, the drums) don't completely work right on band/guitar hero games. At least that is what we were told.

No More Heroes is pretty over the top ridiculous. Its one of the few non-party games for the Wii that I enjoyed.

Mario Kart is always good for a laugh.

Speaking of - Mario Party is good fun on the Wii.
