Wonder what George W. has been up to since leaving office? This has to be seen to be believed (and no, it's not a joke, it's been extensively advertised on local radio):

http://www.getmotivated.com/city.aspx?a=5125

Apparently, someone came up with the stellar inspiration: "Hey, if I was looking for someone to get *me* motivated, it'd be the guy who couldn't speak a single coherent sentence in English and singlehandedly ran America's reputation into the ground, I wonder how much people would pay to hear him speak?"

The answer to that question appears to be... 29.00... *per office*..., which will get you and all your officemates Colin Powell and Tony Parker thrown in on the deal...

For those who were wondering whether Gen. Powell had any shreds of dignity left after selling his soul on the floor of the UN, the answer would apparently be 'no', but I'll have to admit that I wouldn't mind being a (probably very disturbed) fly on the wall for this one...

Regards,
Nydia

I'd probably pay $29 to go see that, if I had nothing better to do.

I thought maybe it was concerning this

But at least for 29 bucks the average joe can hear from different leaders of our times and there thoughts.

Go go Ziggy and Parker !!

You know I'd actually like to hear a couple of them speak, not so much the W, but the rest of them.

This is a pretty common arrangement for former politicians, I think.

I would pay that to hear Terry Bradshaw, for the entertainment value (although he is a lot smarter than folks give him credit for). I also would love to be able to hear Colin Powell in such a setting.

The rest.....blech.

Unfortunately I doubt any of them would have much of substance to say. It's a motivational seminar -- how to succeed minus the details.

Colin Powell in a candid talk .. now that'd be something.

I'd go to see it if I were close by. Did I miss where this involved George W. though? (And actually, I've seen him speak before, and I would do so willingly again.)

LOL @ that lady's poodle hair. I saw that and started laughing.

I'd probably pay to hear these guys talk as well.

Now see, thats pretty funny that I missed seeing GW as the keynote. My mind saw it is a banner ad, so I just filtered it out. Too much web browsing, I no longer actively notice banner ads.

I win?
